NV stands for Nissan Van. The Japanese automaker is planning to have a re-imaging of the commercial carryall box. Nissan will launch the van in three versions, with an option of either a V6 or a V8 engine.
Nissan claims that it has spent 5 years in researching the commercial vehicle market scenario before coming up with the NV. The NV has body-on-frame construction and doghouse-less powertrain packaging, all responsible for the space-efficient interior room and easy servicing. In addition, the NV also boasts of features like a flat-folding passenger seat that can do desk duty, an optional removable center console, and plenty of nooks and pockets to hold the tools of the trade.

The cargo area between the two front seats is 120.7 inches in length, with a max width of 70.3 inches, and a height of 55.4 inches with the standard roof or 76.5 inches with the optional high roof. These dimensions allow anyone to stand up and work in the back. There’s a no-drill roof-rack mounting system, weld-nut attachment points for interior shelving and racks, and optional pre-wiring for extra electricity-needing accessories.
